Notion + Zenpa

When every client keeps a different wiki, Notion holds the brand system details buried across long pages. Zenpa indexes the pages you choose on your Mac so you can pull a component out of a long doc, brainstorm on a launch strategy page, and create a new doc from an email plus a Slack thread.

Connect Notion

Download Zenpa for Mac, sign in with Notion, then choose which workspaces and pages to sync. There are no API keys to configure.

  1. Install Zenpa on your Mac and open the app.
  2. Connect Notion with the normal sign-in flow.
  3. Choose which workspaces and pages to sync.
  4. Ask Zenpa a question about that content, or draft a reply when you are ready.

Retrieve information about a feature buried in a Notion doc

Ask about the feature. Zenpa searches synced Notion pages on your Mac and returns the buried detail with the source page.

The problem: The answer lives somewhere in a long client brand wiki, and you do not want to scroll the whole space to find it.

What Zenpa does: Zenpa reads the synced pages locally and pulls out the section that matches your question.

  1. Ask Zenpa about the feature, and name the product or project if you can.
  2. Check the returned detail against the cited Notion page.
  3. Open the source page if you need the surrounding section.

What you get

You ask: What does our Notion doc say about Fieldstone Coffee toast notifications on dark mode?

Zenpa answers: In Fieldstone components v3, toasts must meet 4.5:1 contrast on dark surfaces, dismiss after 5 seconds by default, and support an optional action button before the next release.

Zenpa pulled the feature detail from inside the Notion doc, without you hunting the page.

Chat about a Notion page and brainstorm strategy

Open the page in context and talk it through. Zenpa helps you brainstorm, for example a marketing strategy, using the page on your Mac.

The problem: A client launch strategy page is dense. You need a thinking partner, not another blank doc.

What Zenpa does: Zenpa keeps the Notion page in context so you can challenge the plan, fill gaps, and shape next moves privately on your Mac.

  1. Point Zenpa at the Notion page, or name it.
  2. Ask it to brainstorm gaps, angles, or next steps.
  3. Keep the useful ideas, then paste or draft whatever you want to keep.

What you get

You ask: Using the Fieldstone Coffee launch strategy page in Notion, help me brainstorm what is missing before release

Zenpa answers: The page locks release date and channels, but a few launch pieces are still thin before Thursday: • Who owns the weekly component demos, and when do they start? • What success looks like in week one (a short KPI block would help) • How Naomi gets a review link for the dark-mode kit • Cafe poster copy owner and final art deadline I would add a KPI block, assign a demo calendar owner, and give Naomi a clear review-link path before the freeze.

Zenpa brainstormed against the Notion page in chat, with the page kept in context.

Create a Notion doc from an email and a Slack message

Point Zenpa at the email and Slack message. It drafts a Notion doc you review before anything is created.

The problem: The useful detail is split across Gmail and Slack, and nobody wants to copy-paste it into a blank Notion page.

What Zenpa does: Zenpa combines those sources on your Mac into a draft Notion doc, then waits for your review.

  1. Add the email and Slack message to context, or describe them.
  2. Tell Zenpa what the Notion doc should capture.
  3. Review the draft, edit if needed, then create it when it looks right.

What you get

You ask: Create a Notion doc from Naomi's email and Jules's Slack message about Fieldstone dark-mode blockers

Zenpa answers: Draft page: Fieldstone dark-mode blockers. Sections cover Naomi's toast contrast report, Jules's icon-stroke note from Slack, owners, and the Thursday fix window.

Zenpa drafts the Notion doc from the email and Slack message. You stay in control of what gets created.
